Suede Biker Jacket & Petite Ankle Boots

If you have a less than average shoe size, you’ll agree that shoe shopping can be hard. I’m a 5 or 6, depending on the brand. Most stores carry size 6, but almost always in smaller quantities than sizes 7-9. By now I’ve gotten used to hearing my size is sold out. If your feet are smaller, I imagine it must near impossible to find shoes.

Lately I prefer shoe shopping online, where there’s less disappointment. And today I’ve got good news for all my girls with petite feet. There’s an online store that carries shoes specifically made for small feet, starting from size 2, and they ship worldwide. It’s called Pretty Small Shoes, and it’s probably the only place I’ve felt like I have big feet. I was actually afraid the petite ankle boots I ordered might be small (5 is their biggest size), but luckily they fit like a glove.

I know online shopping is still scary to many, but I think it’s the way to go if you’re not a standard size. In my city there are only a handful of stores with petite sections, and I’m pretty sure there are no petite shoe stores. Online you have access to so much more petite fashion, and new brands are appearing all the time. I just know that one day it will be as easy to find petite clothing/shoes as it is to find regular clothing/shoes.

Thanks for reading! How do you feel about shoe shopping?

My God that’s EXACTLY my problem, I am a 36 but unfortunately sometimes 35 or 35.5. I may try 20 shoes size 36 but only one will fit😬. But the best thing 😕 is that of course the size does not exist, or is sold out because they have only one to begin with. The only shoes that fit easily are boots adn sneakers. Very good idea this e-shop. By the way these booties are super! Kisses!

I’m glad I could help! I wish stores carried more stock in sizes 35/36 but I guess it’s becoming less of a problem with online shopping. xx

Thanks Nevena! I want to do some more cherry blossom shoots while they’re in bloom, they’re the prettiest.

A gorgeous ensemble. Really nice shoes. But I’m afraid your furry best friend stole the show. Adorable!

So I’m usually a 6 or 7, but my sister is a 5 or 6, so I will definitely be telling her about this store! I would like to add that your blog didn’t veer off at all, and has such a great tone! You write very well! Keep it up!

I totally feel ya girl! I wear a size 5.5 and it’s pretty hard to find shoes in my shoe size. 🙁 It’s even harder to find shoes in half sizes so at times, I need to size up or down, hoping that it would still fit.

I have experienced the same issue with my 37 shoe size here in Europe, Maria! I absolutely love your ankle boots, the grey hue and the suede are simply perfect! Glad to read you found a new shop that doesn’t disappoint, I must confess I am still not 100% sold on online shopping as I love to try things on and get a first-hand feeling before buying 🙂

    Happy Easter weekend, lovely!

Oh wow, I thought 37 was a pretty common shoe size, but I guess that means it sells out faster. I get that, and there are still things I prefer to buy in store but it’s also fun getting a little surprise with online shopping. Happy Easter xx

First of all– you dyed your hair fully purple! It looks awesome! I love it when people take that leap and just go for the color. Second, I’m actually on the cusp where my foot is 6 1/2-7, so pretty small, but not where I have a problem. Even so, I love hearing about brands like these that cater to something else beyond what everyone else is doing– and its really necessary too! The amount of times I want to wear, say, a maxi dress but I can never find one thats short enough! I’m really liking the direction you’re going Maria, keep it up. xx

Thanks! It was fully purple the first time, the tips were just a lot brighter and the top was a lot darker so you couldn’t really see lol. But I am liking this version better and it’s made me less afraid to consider other colours. Aw that means a lot, thank youuu xx
