Two colourful outfits in a row (see last week’s light outfit), what’s gotten into me? This is a warmer upgrade of my Seattle outfit with an ombre sweater, a beanie and chunky platforms. I liked the burgundy bomber and grey jeans together so much that I wanted to wear them again.
Clearly I’m a sucker for anything ombre. I’ve had my hair like this on and off for years. It’s something I keep going back to because I can never decide between dark or light. Picking favourites is hard when everything’s your favourite. I guess that’s why ombre appeals to me so much, it’s the best of both worlds blended together perfectly.
Jeans and a sweater has become my uniform lately because it’s gotten too cold for anything else. It’s been just a few weeks since these photos were taken and we’ve gotten the most intense snow storm I think I’ve ever seen in Vancouver. I feel like I’m in another city, as our winters are usually just wet (we’re very different from the rest of Canada).
Sorry for bringing up the weather all the time but it really does affect me and subsequently how I dress. Luckily I can cheer myself up with gingerbread men, peppermint mochas, and Harry Potter marathons. Thanks for reading and I hope you can’t tell how freezing I am in these photos!
