I have a thing for blue suede lately. Actually pretty much anything suede and/or cobalt blue, so of course I had to have this blue suede biker jacket after I came across it online. I’ve been wanting to expand my biker jacket collection a bit and the suede is so buttery soft!
If you were to take a look into my wardrobe, all you would see is lots of black and white with pops of cobalt blue and red and the odd pastel – all easy pieces and interesting prints. I’ve realized why I’m drawn to these statement pieces and colours: it simply comes down to time.
While I admire women who clearly put a lot of effort into their outfits, the ones who will add little details all over, it’s so much easier to just throw on one statement piece. That’s why I like wearing bold colours and prints – I style my outfits around them and keep everything else simple.
Time is so important and I never seem to have enough of it. I guess it’s just part of being an adult, the part they don’t tell you about when you’re a kid (or the part you don’t listen to). But time is what you make of it, and even though sometimes I wish I had an assistant or a clone to do all the mundane things I don’t want to or more hours in a day, I realize that if I didn’t have all of these things to do I’d probably be bored. It’s all about perspective, right?
Thanks for reading! Do you do anything to make getting dressed easier?
