Blue Suede Biker Jacket & Ripped Jeans

I have a thing for blue suede lately. Actually pretty much anything suede and/or cobalt blue, so of course I had to have this blue suede biker jacket after I came across it online. I’ve been wanting to expand my biker jacket collection a bit and the suede is so buttery soft!

If you were to take a look into my wardrobe, all you would see is lots of black and white with pops of cobalt blue and red and the odd pastel – all easy pieces and interesting prints. I’ve realized why I’m drawn to these statement pieces and colours: it simply comes down to time.

While I admire women who clearly put a lot of effort into their outfits, the ones who will add little details all over, it’s so much easier to just throw on one statement piece. That’s why I like wearing bold colours and prints – I style my outfits around them and keep everything else simple.

Time is so important and I never seem to have enough of it. I guess it’s just part of being an adult, the part they don’t tell you about when you’re a kid (or the part you don’t listen to). But time is what you make of it, and even though sometimes I wish I had an assistant or a clone to do all the mundane things I don’t want to or more hours in a day, I realize that if I didn’t have all of these things to do I’d probably be bored. It’s all about perspective, right?

Thanks for reading! Do you do anything to make getting dressed easier?

I actually took photos fo all my individual items and loaded them up into a virtual closet so I could mix and match easily without pulling stuff out all the time! Might be a little over the top, but it does the job.

I love this look Maria! I have to say that most of the time I don`t take the time I need to get dressed so I do it quickly. Unfortunately I don`t do the only thing that helps ( putting outfits together the night before you wear them). But I have and organised closet. Kisses.

Thanks! I just unzipped them at the bottom so they look a bit longer. I’ve always struggled to find jeans that are shorter than my ankle haha, but I guess you’re a lot taller than me x

This is such a gorgeous color on you, I can see why it’s one of your accent colors 🙂
I think it’s great you’ve already found your personal style, somehow it results in making your outfits look so effortlessly cool! I hope finding my own style will speed up my dressing up process significantly. Currently, it takes me forever to pull stuff together or I just wear the same items over and over again (there are quite a few items I hardly ever wear; I’m sensing a big wardrobe cleanup in the not so distant future). Oh well, slowly getting there 😉
    XO,

Thanks Izzy! I repeat a lot of the same outfits as well in my day to day, especially for work because I have a semi-physical job (it involves a lot of running around and some lifting) so I just want to be comfortable. I try to mix things up more for my blog posts. I have a lot of cool clothes that I don’t always have an occasion to wear but I try to wear them as often as I can and I really love wearing them whenever I do so I’m too attached to throw them out, haha xx
